Vista is not a brand. Vista is VISTA !

VISTA is the restaurant at the BELA VISTA Hotel & Spa, one of the first hotels in the Algarve, which has been open in Portimão since 1934. The restaurant was created in 2011 during the renovation of this historic palace, but it was in 2015 that chef João Oliveira changed its course. With a solid track record, João has carved out a path of detail, a close relationship with the Algarve, the foundation of a cohesive team and a focus on consistency.

This search for a Portuguese and regional identity with a solid connection to the sea and sustainability brought VISTA its first Michelin Star in November 2017. Since then, the team has consolidated the journey, culminating in a very distinctive language, transmitted through two tasting menus: VISTA, focused on bivalves, crustaceans and fish from the Algarve coast and TERRA, vegetarian or vegan, devoted to organic vegetables from the region.

In 2024, the restaurant’s dining room reponed with a renewed face, fresher and more contemporary, and always facing the sea – both from the view and at the table.
